Action at the Huggy Bear

"A call for a man passed out inside a car in the parking lot of the Huggy Bear Hotel, 7588 Warren Road, turned into the confiscation of drugs, cash and guns in Huntington County.

 

Huntington County Sheriff officers found an unresponsive man slumped over in the drivers seat, a Facebook post from the department said today. Officers were not able to revive the man until medics and first responders administered Narcan, the post said. When officers searched the car, they found 482 grams of methamphetamine, 136 grams of cocaine, 105 grams of marijuana, $4,351 and two guns and a methamphetamine pipe. A brick that was wrapped in black material had fallen out of the car when officers opened the drivers door. The brick was sent to the Indiana State Police for testing.
